The first soil testing report was made last week to TenneT on the proposed export cable route for the Borssele offshore wind zone off the coast of Walcheren.
The marine surveys are being carried out by four boats through the consortium Grontmij, Deep Hydrografie & Geofysica en Marine Sampling Holland.
TenneT said it is principally concerned with data on the condition of the soil and the mapping of possible obstacles.
It is also looking for information about the environmental impact in order to keep that “as small as possible”.
