Wind turbine support company TRG Wind has added three technical staff to its team based at a new office in Hull.
The office at the Deep Business Centre was opened earlier this month and is headed by Jim Overton (pictured), TRG Wind said.
The Bromley-based company provides technicians and supervisory services to wind turbine manufacturers and operators to help with construction, commissioning and maintenance of turbines.
It said it now has a total of 40 staff and plans further recruitment to expand its services and customer base of four major manufacturers in 18 countries.
TRG Wind managing director David Elcombe said the availability of experienced people plus the close links to the continent were main reasons for setting up in Hull.
He said: “We launched the business in 2014 and our turnover was just under £1.5m last year.
“Even if we don’t get any more orders we expect to be up to about £4 million this year.”
