Energy Secretary Ed Miliband has decided to reset the statutory deadline, according to the Planning Inspectorate.
A new date for the decision will be published “as soon as possible”.
Outer Dowsing’s DCO application was accepted for examination by UK planners in April 2024.
The project is proposed to feature up to 100 turbines located around 54km off the Lincolnshire coast.
