The UK Planning Inspectorate has completed its examination of Vattenfall’s application to build the 1800MW Norfolk Vanguard offshore wind farm off the east coast of England.
Planners have now sent a recommendation on the project to UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Andrea Leadsom.

A final ruling on Norfolk Vanguard is due by 10 December.
Vattenfall is proposing to deploy a minimum of 90 turbines with maximum tip heights of 350-metres at the project site 73km off the Norfolk coast.
