UK recruitment consultancy Quanta has been awarded a contract to supply personnel to Shell and Eneco’s CrossWind joint venture, which is developing the 759MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm off the Netherlands.
Quanta’s energy division will supply technical personnel to the HKN project, focusing on delivering quality management and inspection professionals.
Quanta principal consultant Matthew Bowles said: “We are delighted to be working with CrossWind on this exciting project and we are looking forward to supplying them with the right professionals to help them succeed.

Quanta’s energy division has been providing recruitment consultancy services to the renewable energy industry since 2002.
During this time Quanta has provided personnel to a number of onshore and offshore wind farm projects across the world.
“We have supported projects in over 25 countries and our services have been delivered across the complete project timeline; from planning and design, construction, commissioning through to operations and maintenance,” the company said.
HKN is located 18 kilometres off the west coast of the Netherlands and will cover an area of 125km squared.
It will comprise of 69 Siemens Gamesa 11MW turbines and is expected to be operational by the end of 2023.
