Vattenfall is seeking a company to provide helicopter services at three offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
The tender is for work at the 288MW each Dan Tysk (pictured) and Sandbank projects in the German North Sea and the 158MW Horns Rev 1 off Denmark.
The contracted party will provide a helicopter for a transfer service from Esbjerg in Denmark to the projects when the use of crew transfer vessels is unfeasible due to weather conditions.
It includes transfer to the accommodation platform at Dan Tysk and Sandbank, as well as hoisting technicians to turbines at all three projects and the Dan Tysk offshore substation.
Expected commencement of the contract is 1 June 2021 for two years, with an option to extend twice by one year.
The helicopter is expected to be available for 365 days a year.
A qualification period for the tender is open until 21 September.
