Veja Mate has completed foundation installation at its 402MW offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The company said the last transition piece was lifted into place at 01.05 local time on 27 October, wrapping up the 67 pedestals.
Construction began in April 2016 by Boskalis unit Offshore Wind Force using Seajacks vessels Scylla and Zaratan.
Foundation package manager Rasmus Miller said: “We had our fair share of challenges to overcome and without everyone staying ahead of the game it was close to impossible to achieve project success.
“I am therefore extremely proud to say that everyone on our Veja Mate and OWF teams stepped up to the plate and tackled our challenges head-on.”
Veja Mate is owned by Highland Group, Siemens Financial Services and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. Full operation at the €1.9bn project is planned for end 2017.
