MMT vessel Relume has started survey work at an area in the North Sea where Denmark plans to build its first artificial energy island.
Relume is to map out the seabed, as part of contract awarded to MMT last month.

Danish transmission system operator Energinet said MMT will later be joined by ships from Fugro, and together they will examine the seabed 100 metres into the ground across a 1000km square area below the future energy island in the North Sea and its offshore wind farms.
Energinet added that later in the spring, similar ships will start surveys of the seabed at the site of future wind turbines off the energy island at Bornholm.
It said the seabed surveys that have been initiated are the starting point for further investigations.
