Per Aarsleff has completed the load-out of a second batch of concrete working platforms for Orsted’s 1.4GW Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm.
The second batch of 18 pieces loaded with aluminium railings, Davit crane and electrical equipment has been loaded out onto a barge and is due to leave in two weeks time.

Per Aarsleff said that in total it has produced 89 of the 165 concrete working platforms for the Orsted project.
The company is producing 135 concrete working platforms for Bladt industries and has already delivered 30 to EEW OSB, all of which will be used to produce transition pieces for the project.
The remaining 99 are expected to be loaded out and shipped by February 2021.
