World Marine Offshore is to acquire all vessels and activities from fellow Danish operator KEM Offshore.
A new entity called WMO Support will be set up within the company to operate KEM Offshore’s fleet and assets from offices in Denmark and Germany.
All existing contracts and operations will be transferred with the vessels.
KEM Offshore started in 1995 with its first dedicated vessel for providing crew transfer services.
Today the fleet consists of eight vessels.
World Marine Offshore chief executive Lars Zohner said: “We have, over the years, followed the development of KEM Offshore and now have finally agreed with the owners to acquire all the vessels and activities.
“During the next step we will implement the vessels and activities under WMO management and look forward to working with the new clients.”
World Marine Offshore operates a fleet of 18 crew transfer vessels and eight DP2 vessels and provides various offshore services.
