France has awarded deals to 54 onshore wind projects in its latest onshore wind tender.
The successful schemes in the fifth PPE2 auction represent a cumulative capacity of 931.31MW, slightly over the target of 925MW.
The projects received an average price of €86.94/MWh.
In total, 101 applications were submitted in the round, representing a cumulative capacity of 1603.91MW.
The new projects must be built within the next 36 months and commissioned before November 2026.
The most successful companies were Calyce, TTR, JPEE, Voltalia, Abowind, RWE, Vent du Nord, Engie Green, Ostwind, which combined received more than 50% of the total volume.
In addition, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Grand-Est and Hauts-de-France were the most productive regions, gathering 56% of the total.
