Acciona Energía has agreed to sell its San Juan de Marcona wind farm in Peru to energy company Luz del Sur for up to $253m.
The 135.7MW project in the Ica region began commercial operations at the end of 2023 and is one of the largest renewable energy assets in the country.

The deal is debt-free and subject to regulatory approvals, including clearance from Peru’s competition watchdog INDECOPI.
Closing is expected before the end of 2025.
Acciona Energía said the move forms part of its asset rotation strategy to unlock value and preserve a strong credit profile.
The company added that the sale supports its long-term ambition to grow its global renewables portfolio.
