Global Wind Service has completed the installation of all 22 turbines at Renewable Power Capital’s 154MW Storhöjden wind farm in Sweden.
The Nordex N163 turbines (pictured) were installed on TS118-03 towers at the site in the High Coast (Höga Kusten) region.
This marks the completion of the first phase of the broader High Coast project, which also includes the 98MW Knäsjöberget wind farm, 140MW Sörlidberget and 161.4MW Vitberget.
Following the completion of works at Storhöjden, activities have now progressed to the Vitberget wind farm, where pre-installation works were finalised on 18 July.
Work to install 24 turbines across two tower types is already taking place at the site.
Commenting on the Storhöjden milestone, a Global Wind Service spokesperson said: “We are deeply grateful to our entire team for their outstanding dedication, hard work and focus throughout this phase.
“We especially appreciate the strong attention to safety and quality consistently shown by our technicians on site – their professionalism is key to our success.
“A sincere thank you to Nordex for the strong and smooth co-operation. It is a pleasure to work side by side on such a major project.
“We are proud to contribute to the development of clean energy in Sweden and look forward to what lies ahead at Vitberget.”
