Amazon Web Services has teamed up with EverPower to construct, own and operate the 189MW Amazon Wind Farm US Central 2 project in Hardin County, Ohio.
The wind farm will generate 530,000MWh of electricity a year starting in December 2017, Amazon said.
It will be Amazon’s fifth renewable energy project in the US and its second wind farm in Ohio.
The wind farm will provide power to the company’s data centers located in Ohio and North Virginia.
