Ecotricity and partner Skanska have filed to build the 64.4MW Sonachan wind farm in Argyll and Bute in the west of Scotland.
The Skylark Energy joint venture is seeking permission from the Scottish government to install 19 turbines at the site north of Inveraray.
Hardware of up to 3.4MW will feature with tip heights set at 136.5 metres.
Ministers will determine the wind farm under Section 36 powers. The local authority will act as a statutory consultee.
Sonachan is planned for forested land to the south of Loch Awe. Plans have come down slightly from the 20 turbines originally put forward.
