Swedish developer Arise has entered into an option agreement with Bergvik Skog giving it the right to acquire the approximately 100MW Svartnäs wind farm in the municipality of Falun in Sweden.
The company said all permits relating to the project have gained legal force and the grid connection is secured.
Arise will develop the wind farm with the aim of selling it to an investor when it is ready for construction.
The project is expected to be commissioned some time towards the end of 2018 and start of 2019.
The final size and realisation of Svartnäs is “dependent on a successful optimisation of the project as well as a successful sales process”, Arise said.
The company has also entered into an agreement with Bergvik Skog to extend right to acquire the Skaftåsen wind farm, which Arise previously holds the right to buy.
