BayWa has secured the rights to develop three new wind farms in Italy totalling 66MW.
The German company will develop the 48MW San Lupo project in Campania and the 10MW Arlena and 8MW Tesennano wind farms in Lazio.
BayWa said it secured the rights to develop the projects in Italy’s renewable energy auction last year.
BayWa Italy executive officer Lorenzo Palombi said: “We have built about 90MW of wind farms in Italy and it is a great honour for us to consolidate our position in the market with three other projects.”
