Siemens Gamesa is to receive initial bids on Friday for its wind farm development portfolio, according to reports.
The Spanish-German manufacturer, which signalled some time ago it would offload the operation, could secure north of €300m in the sale, according to Reuters.

There is understood to be around 3GW of projects at various stage of development on the block, including in Spain, France and Italy.
Reuters reported that Siemens Gamesa has hired Bank of America to advise it, according to sources.
Several big developers are likely to be interested.
The manufacturer is understood to be keen to secure new income amid ongoing difficulties in its core turbine business.
Siemens Gamesa declined to comment.
