Developer Blue Energy has been granted consent by the Scottish government for the 10-turbine High Constellation wind farm in Argyll and Bute, Scotland.
Arcus supported Blue Energy through both the pre-application and consenting process for the over 50MW Section 36 project on the Kintyre Peninsula, including leading on the EIA.
Consultants from Arcus’s Glasgow office also undertook several of the technical assessments in-house including hydrology, archaeology, noise, traffic, socio-economics, climate change and other issues.
High Constellation is the second successful consent in June for Arcus.
Highland Council approved a planning application by Abbey Ecosse for a new anaerobic digester and biomass boiler energy generating apparatus at Forss Business and Technology Park.
Arcus operational director Stuart Davidson (pictured) said: “We have worked for more than three years to bring these projects to fruition and the entire team is committed to renewable initiatives, best practice and to enabling a sustainable future.”
