Brazil-based wind turbine blade manufacturer Tecsis has developed replacement blades for the wind market, targeting spare, life-extension, and turbine repowering opportunities in the US.
The company has developed replacement blades as a cost-effective option for wind farm owners to continue wind farm operations.
Tecsis chief executive Fabiano Mori said: “Many wind asset owners suffer from the lack of wind blades as their turbines are aging.
“In most cases, the turbine components still have a service life but the blades are not able to operate. The Tecsis replacement blades solution aims to solve this big industry problem.”
Tecsis offers replacement blades with a new modern design to fit most operational wind turbine makes and models, including Zond Z50, Vestas V47,
V80 and V82, GE’s GE70.5, GE77, GE82.5, GE100 and GE103, Alstom ECO86, ECO100 and ECO110 as well as turbine models from Impsa, Suzlon and Clipper.
Tecsis has more than 51,000 blades installed worldwide.
