Broadwind Energy has received an $11m order for turbine towers from an unnamed US wind turbine manufacturer.
Broadwind said it will produce the towers at its Manitowoc facility in Wisconsin.
The towers are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of this year, the company said.
Broadwind president and chief executive officer Stephanie Kushner said: “To date in 2016, we have announced over $200m in new tower orders – more than the last two years combined.”
