Broadwind Energy has won a $15m order for wind turbine towers for an unnamed client.
The US company said it will produce the towers at its Manitowoc facility in Wisconsin.
The wind turbine towers are scheduled for delivery in 2017.
Broadwind president and chief executive officer Stephanie Kushner said: “We are pleased to be awarded this order for 2017 production.
“There is a lot of positive momentum occurring within our towers business as we continue to benefit from the strong wind market dynamics in the US.”
