Broadwind Energy has secured new wind turbine tower orders totalling $35m.
The company said the towers will be produced at its facilities in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and Abilene, Texas.

Deliveries are scheduled for next year, Broadwind said.
No details were disclosed about the client or the wind farms.
Broadwind resident and chief executive Stephanie Kushner said: “Wind energy installation forecasts are notably higher over the next two years; as the industry continues to capture the benefits of the production tax credit.
“We are pleased that US manufacturing jobs will support this surge in development.
“These orders build on the previously announced $98m of tower orders scheduled to be produced through 2020.”
