Capital City Group has filed an environmental impact assessment (EIA) for its proposed 216MW Nord onshore wind farm in Lithuania.
Up to 30 wind turbines are planned for the site in Pasvalis district, which would be rated at 7.2MW each and stand 250 metres in height.

Environmental consultancy Ekostruktūra helped prepare the submission, which is a requirement to permitting in the country when more than seven turbines are involved.
The proposed location is in a designated area for wind farm development and does not fall within protected areas or territories of cultural heritage.
The Environmental Protection Agency will now review the potential environmental impact of the development before making a decision on next steps.
