Asset manager CEE Group has acquired the operational 12MW Saarland wind farm in Germany from Dutch developer DunoAir for an undisclosed price.
The Hamburg-based company said the deal for the project’s four Enercon-E115 turbines increases its wind portfolio to 435MW.
CEE will commercially managed the project while DunoAir will stay on to oversee technical operations.
“We are delighted to successfully acquire another wind farm in Germany from DunoAir. Our strategy of acquiring projects in well-established partnerships and co-operations as repeat deals, has once again proved its worth”, said CEE Group chief executive Detlef Schreiber.
The company is planning further acquisition in Germany, added investment director Jens Schnoor.
DunoAir chief executive Arjen Ploeg added: “The fight against global climate change means a great deal to us as a family-friendly company, so that we will continue to passionately advocate for every single approval of a wind turbine in the future.”
