Denmark has launched a new price support mechanism for electricity produced by wind turbine test sites other than the national centres at Osterild and Hovsore.
A pool of up to 10MW is available in 2018 that will receive a price of 11 ore (€0.015) a kilowatt-hour over 20 years, the Danish Energy Agency said.

A further 25MW will be on offer in 2019 with the price set at a premium supplementing the average winning bids in a technology-neutral offering for 2018, DEA added.
Interested parties can currently only apply for the 2018 pool on a first-come-first-served basis, the agency said.
