A fund managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has closed out its acquisition of two onshore wind projects in Texas with a combined generating capacity of 516MW.
The vendor, TriGlobal Energy, will continue to assist in the development of the projects, which are planned to be fully operational before 2018, according to Watson Farley & Williams, a law firm that advised on the deal.
The 366MW Bearkat and 150MW Blue Cloud projects are located in Glasscock county and Bailey and Lamb counties, respectively.
Their acquisition marks the Danish group’s first foray into U.S. renewables.
A purchase price was not disclosed.
