Deutsche Windtechnik has secured a contract to service 146 Gamesa-made turbines operating in Spain for a period of four years.
The turbines are installed in three wind farms located in Castilla La Mancha and comprise a cluster with 124MW of the Gamesa G58 model.
With this contract Deutsche Windtechnik said it has close to 1GW of installed capacity in the Iberian Peninsula under service.
The company also signed agreements in April this year for 130 Gamesa G80 and G52 wind turbines.
Deutsche Windtechnik general director for Spain Alfredo del Tiempo Pina said: “The confidence shown by our client with this new contract corroborates the conviction that we are doing things well and at the same time it is a challenge for our organisation in order to continue with the level of quality and flexibility in the service that have made us reach this milestone.”
