EDF Renewables North America will sell the 157MW Brickyard wind farm in Missouri to an Ameren Corp subsidiary on completion of the project in 2020.
The facility, developed by EDF Renewables and located in Atchison County, is expected to create more than 280 jobs at peak construction.
Brickyard will help Ameren Missouri meet its goal of reducing carbon emissions 80% by 2050 below 2005 levels.
The deal is subject to conditions precedent, including approval from the Missouri Public Service Commission and obtaining a transmission interconnection agreement from the Midcontinent Independent System Operator.
