EDF Energies Nouvelles has commissioned two wind farm extension projects in Portugal.
The French company said it has completed the 23MW Ventominho second phase which features 10 turbines.
Ventominho now has a maximum power output of 263MW.
EDF has also commissioned a further two turbines at its Arga wind farm, increasing the project’s rating to 40.7MW from 36MW.
Both projects are located in the north west of the country near the Spanish border and are co-owned with Eolverde and DST.
