EDP Renewables North America is to sell electricity generated by the 75MW Meadow Lake VI wind farm in Indiana to the Wabash Valley Power Association under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
The project is expected to start commercial operations in 2018.
EDPR said the deal brings the total volume of PPAs signed in the US to 1.1GW for projects to be installed between 2016 and 2020.
The company said it has therefore secured 60% of its 1.8GW target of capacity additions in the US during the period.
