Enel Green Power has started building a new wind farm in Brazil.
The Delfina wind farm will have an installed capacity of 180MW and be able to generate over 800GWh annually.
The wind farm is in Bahia, a state in the north-west of Brazil and EGP will invest $400m in its construction.
It is expected to be completed and become commercially operational in the first half of 2017.
The project will be financed through the EGP’s own sources and supported by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs).
