Canadian energy company Enbridge plans to install 81 Acciona 3.075MW turbines at the 249MW Chapman Ranch wind farm under construction in Texas.
Acciona WindPower, which is owned by Nordex, will also provide operations and maintenance to the facility in Nueces County under a five-year fixed-price contract.
RES America is building the $400m wind farm under a fixed-price engineering, procurement and construction deal, it said.
Enbridge bought the project, which benefits from a 12-year power purchase agreement, from Apex Clean Energy Holdings in late 2016.
The developer expects the wind farm to be in service in the third quarter of this year.
