Enel Green Power North America has started commercial operations at the first 200MW phase of the Cimarron Bend wind farm in Kansas.
The project, which is in Clark County, was developed in partnership with Tradewind Energy, Enel said.
Electricity from the first and second 200MW phase will be sold under two bundled, long-term power purchase agreements with Google and the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities.
Enel Green Power North America head Rafael Gonzalez said: “Through our partnerships with like-minded corporations, we look forward to advancing our work in the wind industry and furthering the progress of renewables as a whole.”
