El Campo comprises six turbines and can generate 75 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity a year.

It is located in the towns of Mallen and Frescano.

Construction started on 21 January and ended on 21 November, with network connection on 13 December.

La Estanca features eight turbines that provide total power of 24MW and will produce 97GWh a year. It is located in the towns of Mallen and Frescano.

Construction started on 25 March and ended on 21 November. The wind farm was connected to the network on 13 December.

Enel Green Power Espana owns 51%, with Bancale owning the remaining 49%.

The seven-turbine Loma Gorda can generate 70GWh a year and is located in Fuendetodos.

Work started on 5 October 2018 and ended on 31 October 2019, with grid-connection on 29 November.

The 30MW Santo Domingo de Luna has nine turbines and will produce 116GWh a year.

Construction started on 20 November 2018 and ended on 27 September 2019. It was connected to the network on 18 November.

The wind farm, which is located in the towns of Luna, Las Pedrosas and Sierra de Luna, is 51%-owned by Enel Green Power Espana and 49%-owned by General Eolica Aragonesa.

Enel Green Power Espana is the renewable energy subsidiary in Spain of Endesa.

Endesa chief executive Jose Bogas said: “Endesa is already finalising the connection to the network of the 879MW awarded in the 2017 auction, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to fulfil the commitments acquired in the tenders launched by the government.

“It is a great step forward in Endesa’s commitment to the production of clean energy, which is one of the pillars of the Spanish energy transition policy.”

Enel Green Power Espana was awarded 540MW of wind power and 339MW of solar energy at government auctions held in May 2017, which will is a total investment of more than €800m.

The company has already connected to the network the 339MW of solar and some 285MW of wind.
