German turbine manufacturer Enercon has installed the first of its new E-147 EP5 turbines at a wind farm in Finland.
Enercon said a 4.3MW machine had been erected for the Paltusmaki project in Ostrobothnia.

Paltusmaki is being developed by Energiequelle and will feature five Enercon turbines in total.
The units are being built on modular steel towers at hub heights of 132 metres, the company said.
Enercon said the installation marks the next intermediate objective in its EP5 programme, which also includes E-160 EP5/4.6MW and E-147 EP5 E2/5.0MW machines.
