Enercon has installed a prototype of its new E-126 EP3 turbine near Kirch Mulsow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany.
The German manufacturer said “another scheduled milestone has been reached in the important EP3 programme”.

It added that the E-126 EP3 is the first turbine type to be given a new compact design.
The turbine model has a rotor diameter of 127 metres.
