Enercon has signed a supply contract with Alterric to deliver 13 of its new E-175 EP5 E2 turbines for the Kutenholz wind farm in Lower Saxony.
The 91MW repowering project will replace 20 older E-66 machines with the latest 7MW flagship model, featuring a 175-metre rotor and 162-metre hub height on hybrid steel towers.

Certification of the tower variant was presented this week at Husum Wind by TÜV Süd.
Installation is set to begin in spring 2026, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year.
