Energiequelle has successfully commissioned the 12MW French wind farm La Chapelle-Glain, in the Pays de la Loire region in the Loire-Atlantique department, and sold it to Encavis.
The deal with the Encavis Infrastructure Fund II, advised by Encavis Asset Management AG, was signed last week.
The project was developed and built by Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie and comprises five E-92 type Enercon turbines.
P&T Technologie received the building permit for the project back in September 2016, but initially had to undergo an extensive legal battle before concluding this successfully and beginning construction last September.
Despite the coronavirus crisis and a four-week construction stop, the last turbine was installed in June of this year.
“In compliance with health regulations and the new safety requirements, the installation of the wind farm was completed on time in September,” said P&T Technologie construction manager Christophe Biger.
The wind farm has a fixed feed-in tariff covering a period of 20 years.
The wind farm brings P&T Technologie’s operational management portfolio to 23 wind farms with a total output of 230 MW.
In total, the Energiequelle Group has built more than 750 turbines with an output of over 1,400 MW. In France alone, a further 73 MW is to be added in the coming years, including a PV project, the company added.
