Engie has taken full control of French wind developer La Compagnie du Vent, having acquired the outstanding 41% interest in the company from Soper.
La Compagnie du Vent will now be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Engie, the company said.
The acquired company has 150 employees and an operating capacity of 423MW wind and 88MW solar facilities.
Engie chief executive Gwenaelle Huet said: “With this full acquisition, once more the group demonstrates its leadership in France’s energy transition and strengthens its positions as the country’s number one in both wind power.”
