Eon has kicked off construction at its 228MW Bruenning’s Breeze wind farm in Texas.
The project, which is located in Willacy County, will comprise 76 AW125/3000 Nordex/Acciona machines.
The turbines will be installed on 87.5-metre tubular steel towers and have a rotor diameter of 125 metres.
The wind farm is named after former Eon employee Michelle Bruenning, who died from cancer in 2014.
