Danish developer European Energy has completed the part-sale of the operational 32MW Svindbaek wind farm on home turf to an unnamed German investment management company.
The wind farm (pictured) located in the municipality of Ikast-Brande consists of 10 Siemens Gamesa 3.2MW turbines.
The German buyer has acquired seven turbines while the remaining three turbines will remain in the ownership of European Energy.
The wind farm was commissioned in early 2018.
“This sale provides a strong finish to the year. We continue to experience high interest among institutional investors for our projects,” said European Energy chief executive Knud Erik Andersen.
European Energy said it still expects to deliver an EBITDA of €40-45m and a profit before tax of €30-35m in 2019.
