Eurowind Energy has secured permits for a number of projects totalling almost 1GW in the 2023/24 fiscal year.
The company has been granted permits for 29 new energy projects across Europe, with several already underway in the construction phase.
“I am pleased that Eurowind Energy is able to maintain its ambitions for growth in a market characterized by strong competition,” Eurowind Energy CEO Jens Rasmussen said.
“Our profound market and industry knowledge enable us to identify projects with the greatest potential, both in terms of output and economy.”
The portfolio of projects includes both solar and wind energy, with 19 solar parks and 10 wind parks, including a 237MW solar park under construction in Bulgaria.
Of the projects, 11 are in Poland, five in Germany, and three are in Romania. There are two projects in Slovakia.
In Eurowind’s home country of Denmark, two permits have been obtained in Ulkær Mose, for 11 wind turbines, and Handest Hede, where the existing wind turbines will now be supplemented with solar cells in a hybrid park.
