FairWind has installed the first Siemens Gamesa turbine at the 86MW Rodene wind farm in Sweden.
The 5.X series turbines each have a 6.6MW capacity and rotors that have a 155-metre diameter.

Siemens Gamesa is providing 13 SG 5.8-155 machines for Rodene, which is located near Alingsas.
It will also service the turbines for 15 years.
Rodene is being developed in a forested area with medium wind speeds and turbulences.
