Italian developer Falck Renewables has completed the 11.75MW Spaldington Airfield wind farm in England.
All five Enercon E-92 turbines are now in operation at the project near Goole in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Falck chief executive Toni Volpe said: “With the start of operation of the Spaldington wind farm, our first one in England, our growth in renewable energy in the UK continues.”
A trio of Scottish wind farms is under construction ahead of the Renewables Obligation end-game in March 2017.
When complete Falck’s portfolio in the UK will total 413MW across 12 projects.
