Finnish outfit Peikko Group is to deliver gravity foundation technology to the Lehtirova wind farm in Norrbotten county in northern Sweden.
The company will supply Modix center anchor, Modix rebar splicings and PSB shear reinforcement, as well as all other standard rebar components for the foundation.
Peikko is also responsible for foundation design and structural calculations.
Deliveries are scheduled to start in June and end in October.
All the foundations should be ready in November, with the 41 Vestas V126 3.6MW turbines to be installed in the summer of 2018.
The wind farm is scheduled to be operational in December 2018.
Construction will be carried out as an EPC project by OX2, with Empower PN contracted to build the foundations.
