French renewables developer Futuren increased revenue by 3% to €42.5m in the first nine months of 2016, compared with the same period last year.
The company said the rise came despite unfavourable wind conditions in the second and third quarters of 2016.
Electricity sales were up 2% compared with the same period last year at €36.6m, while revenue from wind farm development and management grew 13% to €5.8m.
Futuren said at the end of September it commissioned the 18MW Chemin Perre wind farm in Aube in France, bringing the company’s total installed capacity to 361MW.
During the third quarter of 2016, construction started on the 13MW Les Monts project, also in Aube, which is planned for commissioning in January next year.
Construction will start on a further 21MW in early 2017, with the group’s pipeline of projects authorised or under construction totalling 181MW to be commissioned in the next three years.
