German duo toast local success

Developers VSB and Sabowind have fully commissioned the 30MW Luko wind farm in Wittenberg county in Saxony-Anhalt in Germany.

The project features 12 GE 2.5-120 turbines.

The developers obtained the construction license for the project in December last year and kicked off construction in April.

“Thanks to the good cooperation between VSB, Sabowind, and all other firms involved in the construction, we managed to implement the project in a possibly record-breaking six-month period,” said Sabowind executive Rainer Sack.
