ABO Wind and Trianel Erneuerbare Energien have completed the almost 7MW Bad Arolsen wind farm in Germany.
The 6.9MW project features two Vestas V126 turbines and is located in the city forest south of Bad Arolsen-Landau in the Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg.
Preparation work for construction started in January 2019, with actual construction of the wind farm kicking off in June of that year.
Trianel Erneuerbare Energien managing director Markus Hakes said: “With our expansion strategy, we rely on cooperative partnerships on an equal footing and can thus meet the goals of the municipal utilities involved.”
The wind farm is part of the TEE renewable energy portfolio, which involves 37 municipal utilities and Trianel.
The portfolio currently comprises 190MW of wind and solar in Germany.
