German utility Stadtwerke München has joined up with Norwegian companies Eidsiva Energi and Gudbrandsdal Energi to develop the 31-turbine Raskiftet wind farm in Norway.
The trio said they will invest Dkr1.4bn ($165m) to build the facility between the municipalities of Amot and Trysil north of Oslo.
The companies are taking over from developer Austri Vind, which won the permits for the project in June 2015.
Swedish company OX2 is building the wind farm and will complete the facility by late 2018.
Stadtwerke München now owns 60% of the project while Eidsiva and Gudbrandsdal hold 20% each.
